Due to severe weather moving into the area this afternoon and our school not having a storm shelter for staff and students, we will dismiss all students today at 1:15 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As always, our top priority is student and staff safety. Be safe!

Good Evening Venice Families! Unfortunately we had two confirmed cases of COVID in our school building today. My fear is there could be more staff or students come down with COVID or other illnesses if we do not take action now. The decision has been made to call off school tomorrow as an "emergency day" to allow our custodial staff the day to disinfect the entire building thoroughly. For the safety and well being of all our students and staff, there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 2. This emergency day will have to be made up at the end of the school year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Have a good weekend! We will see all our students and staff back in the building on Monday, February 5th. Thank you and stay safe! Mrs. Cynthia Tolbert, Superintendent
