Our middle school students here are preparing small gifts to share with their Grandparents today at our in Grandparents Day celebration. Happy Grandparents Day to all our Venice school families' grandparents. You are special!
Effective today, Venice Elementary will begin using two buses for transportation at dismissal time only. Due to using two buses, student's drop off times will be earlier than usual. Morning transportation will continue as normal with one bus.
Beginning on Monday, August 21st, all students will begin to be dismissed at their normal dismissal time. Pre-Kindergarten students will be dismissed daily at 2 PM. K-8 students will be dismissed daily at 3 PM. Have a good evening!

Here are a couple of future 7th and 8th grade students posing as future leaders, chiefs and queens. The new school year has officially begun!. We are looking forward to seeing these young students grow this school year.
Back to School Night on Tuesday evening was a success!!!! We had approximately 25 parents come out to meet and greet teachers and staff!
Huge shout out to the teachers, staff and district admin who gave up their time to show up to meet our parents!!!
Special thanks to Ms. Girlfriend and Mrs. Mae for handling the popcorn and sno cones; Mr. Larry and Ms. Cat for bringing the ice and staying to clean up after we were done respectively; district admin Mrs. Tolbert, Mrs. Bell, and Mrs Tami for the chromebook sign offs; and our two board members who stopped by!!!

Monday, August 14th = Dismissal at 11:30 AM
Tuesday, August 15th through Friday, August 18th = Dismissal at 1:00 PM
Mark your calendar to attend our Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 15th from 5 PM to 7 PM! Meet our school Principal Ms. Outerbridge, our staff, your child's teacher, tour the school, pickup your child's Chromebook and get transportation information. You can also join the PTO!
