Truancy Officer, Tim Rhymer, from the Regional Office of Education 41 will be at Venice Elementary School on Friday, February 7th at 2:05 to go over county/state attendance requirements for our school as well as answer any questions parents may have about attendance or truancy. Dear Venice Families,
As the winter season is upon us, we want to make sure that our students are prepared in the event of inclement weather.
To this end, we have begun distributing Chromebooks to every student in KG - 8th Grade. Students are responsible for keeping up with their Chromebooks, and the chargers, ensuring that they bring them to school daily, as they are an integral part of our in person learning. All students have been given access to their Google Classroom, for instruction and instructional activities.
Students who were in attendance today have received their Chromebooks. We will continue distributing them tomorrow Thursday January 9, 2025 and Friday January 10, 2025. In the event that your child is going to be absent from school on these two days, please make arrangements to collect your child's Chromebook from our school this week.
