Welcome back to school! Our students first day was a blast! Students and their parents entered school on the red carpet with all staff outside welcoming students back. We are looking forward to a great year!

Venice CUSD #3 wanted to inform you that no after-school program will be offered to families for the 2024-2025 school year due to the district’s ability to sufficiently staff the program for the upcoming year. We understand this news may be disappointing and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.. It was a great way to finish our first week of summer school by taking a field trip to Incredible Pizza! It was a great day!
The new elementary school is coming along nicely! I am happy to report we are ahead of schedule.
Attached are two pictures. In picture one, this is the Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 wing. This will also serve as the building's storm shelter for the school in case of bad weather. In picture two, the steel frame is installed on the building's Grade 5-8 wing. The tall pieces of steel frame are the start of the gymnasium.

Venice Parents, we want to remind you that all students' last day of school is tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22nd, with an 11:30 AM dismissal. Please ensure your child's transportation arrangements. We had a blast this school year and can't wait until students return to us on August 13th. Until we see each other again, we wish you a safe and happy summer!
Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 7 and Grade 8 students took a field trip to the St. Louis Science Center today! They are engaged in learning and having a great day!
Due to severe weather moving into the area this afternoon and our school not having a storm shelter for staff and students, we will dismiss all students today at 1:15 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As always, our top priority is student and staff safety. Be safe!
Cupcakes With My Crew was a success! It was a great day for our students and the special people who play a significant role in their lives.
Our 8th-grade students spent the day visiting Madison and Lovejoy Schools in preparation for transitioning to High School. They ended the day with a delicious lunch at Applebees. It was a great day!

Good Evening Parents! On Wednesday, March 27th all students will be dismissed at 1 PM for Spring Break! The district will be closed Thursday, March 28th through Monday, April 1st for Spring Break. All students and staff will return to school on Tuesday, April 2nd. We wish you a safe and enjoyable break!
Our 7th and 8th grade students and staff are off to Washington DC for their class trip! This is many of our students first time on a plane. As it looks, they are happy to be there! Have fun!
