Progress continues on the new Venice elementary school. We are getting ready to paint in some classrooms, and they continue to finish hanging drywall in other classrooms and gym area. Check out our progress in the photos I provided. #RedDevilProud

Today our students participated in a school wide spelling bee. Students have been preparing for this day and did a fantastic job. It takes a lot of courage to stand in front of a large crowd and spell words. They are all winners and we are super proud of each and every student!

Check out our new photos of our new elementary school! Progress continues.

The new elementary is progressing nicely. Most sidewalk curbs have been poured. The drywall is almost complete inside, and mud and taping of the walls begin. Most windows have been installed, and we continue to make progress here. All parking lots and 7th Street being repaved should be complete in the next several weeks. Check out our photos and the descriptions of each of our progress. We are still ahead of schedule!

The new elementary school is coming along nicely! I am happy to report we are ahead of schedule.
Attached are two pictures. In picture one, this is the Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 wing. This will also serve as the building's storm shelter for the school in case of bad weather. In picture two, the steel frame is installed on the building's Grade 5-8 wing. The tall pieces of steel frame are the start of the gymnasium.
More to come soon!
