3rd Grade is celebrating Black History month by researching an African American Hero. They are working on their research and display boards throughout the month of February. Great work 3rd grade students!
Good Afternoon Venice Families! During the month of February we will be celebrating Black History Month! To honor Black Heros, New Shining Light Church in Venice will be offering FREE Chili and Polish Sausage to those that come to the church (740 Broadway, Venice) any Tuesday or Thursday throughout the month of February from 11 AM to 1 PM. Food will be available until it runs out. No identification or paperwork will. Tomorrow we are kicking off Red Ribbon Week! Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Each day we ask students and staff to participate in the dress up- days scheduled for each day. If students dress up for Red Ribbon Week they do not need to wear their regular uniform; however, tennis shoes are still required daily. On Monday, all students are encouraged to wear as much red as they can. Thank you.

The after school program for 21st Century Excel students begins on Monday, October 3rd. This after school program will run Monday through Thursday each week school is in session from 3 PM to 5 PM. The bus will run students home at the conclusion of the program each day at 5 PM.
Reminder! School pictures are tomorrow, September 29th. Student do not need to wear their school uniforms on this day. We are looking forward to seeing all our students smiling faces!
